Cheryl Enger
Cheryl Enger, Senior Scientist, returned to i3 Drug Safety in 2007, after a 4 year hiatus. She was most recently senior manager of biostatistics at Emergent BioSolutions, manufacturer of the anthrax vaccine. She was previously with the i3 Drug Safety epidemiology group from 1999 to 2003. Prior to joining i3 in 1999, she was an assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, where she held joint appointments in ophthalmology, oncology, and biostatistics. She earned a BA in mathematics from St. Olaf College, an MS in statistics from Iowa State University, and a PhD in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Dr. Enger has extensive experience in statistical consulting on the design and analysis of epidemiological studies, especially in ophthalmology and HIV/AIDS. She also has extensive experience in designing and managing large scale post-marketing drug safety studies using claims data. She has authored or coauthored over 100 peer reviewed research articles. |
