Senior Scientific Leadership team Biographies

Dr. Rodney Carlson joined i3 Drug Safety and its predecessor company, Statprobe, as a drug safety/research physician in 2001. Rod is a board certified internist with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining i3, Rod held various physician and management positions at The Upjohn Company and its successor company, Pharmacia, in the areas of medical affairs and clinical development focusing on Phase III and IV studies in the areas of diabetes and metabolic diseases, women’s health, and dermatology. He also served as medical director for the U.S. pharmacovigilance unit. Prior to joining The Upjohn Company, Rod was in the private practice of internal medicine.
