Dr. Sean Fenton joined i3 Drug Safety as Medical Director in the fall of 2009. He received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York and is board-certified in Family Medicine. He has over 10 years of experience as a physician in clinical practice, medical consultant and drug safety physician. Prior to joining i3 Drug Safety, he has worked as a drug safety physician in various companies including Sanofi-Aventis, Schering Plough, Eisai, Forest Laboratories and Novartis Consumer Health, with pharmacovigilance responsibilities for products in various therapeutic areas related to both post-marketing and clinical trials. He has experience with protocol review, aggregate reporting, signal detection, PV support for IND/NDA/EU CTD submissions, and medical case assessment. In his current role at i3 Drug Safety, he provides medical consulting for both internal and external clients with medical oversight and insight of pharmacovigilance activities such as medical review, aggregate reporting, and risk management services. He is based in Basking Ridge, NJ. |
