Aylin Altan Riedel, PhD, Vice President. Dr. Riedel specializes in health outcomes and pharmacoeconomic research in managed care settings. As Vice President of Research for i3 Innovus, she is responsible for working with pharmaceutical companies and other clients to design research to best meet their needs. Dr. Riedel has been with i3 Innovus since 2000 and has worked in multiple project management roles over the years; designing research protocols, conducting analyses, and disseminating study results. Prior to leading the research group, Dr. Riedel was the Director of Analytics, managing statistical, programming, and data management resources for the HEOR team. Prior to joining i3, Dr. Riedel’s research focused on the analysis of costs and outcomes associated with disease management programs in managed care settings. Her previous research also included study of quality of life among patients with chronic diseases. Dr. Riedel earned her PhD in health services research at the University of Minnesota and an undergraduate degree at Stanford University. She was a contributing author to Managed Care and the Treatment of Chronic Illness, published by Sage Publications and has published articles in the Annals of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology, Journal of Rheumatology, Journal of Clinical Rheumatology, and the Journal of Managed Care Medicine.
