Jeanne E. Loughlin, M.S.

Jeanne E. Loughlin has been with the epidemiology group since it was formed in 1980 and currently serves as a Director of Epidemiology. Prior to joining i3 Drug Safety, she conducted research on the risk of testicular cancer associated with prenatal exposure to diethylstilbestrol. Early work with the epidemiology group included occupational and environmental studies of non-ionizing radiation, asbestos, petroleum-based chemicals, and cellular telephones. Her most recent work has been in the areas of female health, cardiovascular disease, anti-virals, and pain management. Ms. Loughlin has extensive experience in the design, management, and reporting of large scale post-marketing safety research for the pharmaceutical industry using a variety of health insurance claims databases. She has written or co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles. She earned her Master of Science in Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health in 1979.
