William H. Crown, M.A., Ph.D.PRESIDENT
Dr. Crown came to i3 after spending more than a decade at Medstat™, where he held a number of positions culminating in vice president of outcomes research and econometrics in the Research and Pharmaceutical division. He also held a number of faculty positions at Brandeis University’s Florence Heller Graduate School, including faculty chair and director of research in the Policy Center on Aging. He received his doctorate degree in urban and regional studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master of arts in economics from Boston University. The author of two books and co-author of two others, Dr. Crown has also contributed chapters addressing health economics to 30 books and has authored or co-authored more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Known for introducing sample selection bias models into the pharmaceutical outcomes research literature, he is a frequent speaker on pharmaceutical economics and econometric methodology at professional meetings and conferences. |
